Have you ever caught sight of your reflection in a window or mirror to see that your head leads the way? Or noticed that your shoulders and upper back are too rounded forward? You’ll learn simple techniques to improve posture and stand straighter. We’ll do exercises to help flatten the upper back, un-round shoulders and flatten your midsection. We’ll talk about how to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and related injuries and how to re-gain bone mass. We’ll discuss the latest research findings on nutrition and talk about the importance of minerals and trace minerals for bone health; foods that help and/or harm your bones and more. This pickleball Power league is for players that are 3.5 and up skill levels only. Players will be assigned a court each night with 3 other players. Players on the assigned court will play 2 games to 11 points with each player on their court. Individual points will be kept and the player with the most points at the end of 5 weeks will be declared the Champion!

Steve Deitz, retired Vocal Music Instructor at Alexandria Area High School, offers private lessons in guitar, voice, electric bass, beginning piano, and drawing. With over 40 years of experience, Steve brings expertise in music and visual arts. Lessons are available in 30-minute increments. Please specify the lesson type and desired time on your registration form.

The purpose of the American Red Cross CPR, AED and First Aid Training program is to help you learn how to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach skills that you need to know to provide immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. The recommended minimum age is 10 or older for training. To receive certification, student must have strength to perform full compressions. Includes Student Manual and Certification Card.
