About Screening
A free, required screening for all Minnesota students, prior to their start in any educational setting. This screening is best completed when your child is 3 years, 4 months old.
An early childhood screening is only required once. If your child had an early childhood screening completed by another school district or by headstart, it is not necessary to do the screening again.
