This workshop will explore practical strategies for protecting your plants from deer, rabbits, and other chewing critters throughout the winter season. Participants will learn simple, effective techniques that can help prevent damage, preserve the health of trees and shrubs, and save time, money, and frustration in the long run.

Adam Hjelm has been teaching community education and gardening classes for nearly twenty years. He is passionate about native plants and helping people green up their spaces in a variety of ways. Adam is an environmental educator, Master Gardener, Master Naturalist, and Lawns to Legumes coach. In his spare time, he can be found wandering the woods, gardening in the backyard, or chasing fish on local lakes.
