Red Cross Certification (CPR and First Aid)EnrichmentThe purpose of the American Red Cross CPR, AED and First Aid Training program is to help you learn how to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach skills that you need to know to provide immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. The recommended minimum age is 10 or older for training. To receive certification, student must have strength to perform full compressions. Intro to AED and Hands-Only CPREnrichmentHave you wondered about those AED’s (Automated External Defibrillators) that you see everywhere? This class will introduce you to the AED, how they work, how to use them properly, and includes hands-on practice. Additionally, because AED’s supplement CPR, this class will introduce you to “Hands-Only” CPR so you are ready for a cardiac arrest emergency. This class includes hands-on practice using both an AED trainer and CPR manikin, so dress comfortably!Adult Fall 2025 - Summer 2026
